Spring 2008 Issue:
cæsura, the literary journal of Poetry Center San José seeks poems,
essays, and book reviews about origins. We want work that deals with the original:
who or what came first, whether it is cultural, anthropological, environmental,
or geneological. How do origins influence poets and their poetry? Can we discern
a poet's origins from his or her writing?
